SME Academy uses cookies sparingly and only for essential purposes. We believe in transparency and minimal tracking.

Cookies we use

Theme preference (localStorage, not a cookie): Remembers whether you chose light or dark mode. No data is sent to our servers.

Google Analytics (_ga, _ga_*): Helps us understand which content is most useful to our readers. These are first-party cookies set by Google Analytics 4. They expire after 26 months.

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, remarketing tags, or third-party marketing cookies.

Managing cookies

You can control cookies through your browser settings:

• Firefox: Options → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
• Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Cookies and website data
• Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions

You can also opt out of Google Analytics entirely by installing the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on.

Disabling analytics cookies will not affect your ability to use the site.
