Marketplace fee calculator
See what is actually left from a marketplace order after commission, service, transaction and fixed fees.
One order
This order loses money at these figures.
Estimate only. Fee structures, category rates and campaign costs differ by platform and change several times a year — verify against your own Seller Centre. Service tax of 8% applies to taxable services; confirm your own tax treatment with your tax agent.
How it works
Marketplace fees stack — commission, a service or programme fee, a transaction fee, a fixed fee per order, service tax on those fees, and any seller-funded voucher. Sellers who look only at commission are routinely surprised by what actually lands in the payout.
This calculator holds no platform rate table on purpose. Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop commissions in Malaysia changed more than once during 2026 and differ by category and store type, so a built-in table would be wrong within months. The pre-filled percentages are placeholders — replace them with your own from the platform's Seller Centre.
The one rate asserted here is service tax at 8%, which matches this site's SST guide and calculator. Confirm your own tax treatment with your tax agent.
Marketplace payouts arrive net of fees, which means the money in your bank never matches your sales — and most sellers "fix" that by booking the payout as revenue. That single shortcut understates turnover, hides your real fee cost, and can misstate SST. Here is the correct treatment, and how to automate it.
